Station House #7 is strategically
located near the middle of the fire district and adds good support to all
other still alarm areas. This station was built in 1981 as part of a long
range plan conceived by now retired Chief Zelch for expansion of the
Mehlville Fire Protection District. Station House #7 is home to pumper
1770 with three personnel assigned. This station also has the District
only Four wheel drive pumper used for remote areas and snow emergencies.
Also assigned is a reserve ambulance . This station is the sixth busiest
in the Mehlville Fire Protection District. This station covers an area to
I-55 to the West, The Meramec River on the South, Mattis Road on the
North and the Burlington Northern Railroad to the East. This station is
approximently 6500 square feet.
