Mehlville Fire Protection District, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is accepting applications for the position of FIRE/MEDIC.

Applicants Must : Be EMT-P Certified by the State of Missouri. In addition, applicants not possessing St. Louis County Basic Firefighter Training Certification must be willing to successfully complete the Academy as a Priority One.

Preference will be given to those applicants with Fire/Medic experience and applicants who possess certification through the St. Louis County Fire Standards Commission.

The firefighter/paramedic test will be taken from the Essentials of Firefighting Extended Fifth Edition, Chapters 3, 8, 11, 13 & 15 and from Mosby's Paramedic Textbook, Revised Third Edition, Chapters 4, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 32, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 44 & 45. The Written Testing date will be posted on the District's website when scheduled.
