The Mehlville Fire Protection
District has grown to become the largest fire district in St. Louis
County. It operates 7 fire stations, a fleet of some 34 emergency vehicles
and a staff of 145 personnel.
Tremendous voter support over
the years has enabled the organization to develop the assets necessary to
extend a wide array of emergency services throughout the 52 square miles
the Fire District is charged to protect.
